SIS is seeking volunteers to serve on two new committees, the Membership Committee and the Fundraising Committee. These committees will serve a vital role in expanding SIS's advocacy, education, and research capabilities on behalf of physicians performing minimally invasive spine interventions.
The Membership Committee will be led by Board Secretary, Dr. Matthew Smuck, to manage current membership data, review membership requirements, and develop recommendations for the SIS Board on membership topics including international credentialing, retention, recruitment, value, and dues structure. International members are especially encouraged to join.
The Fundraising Committee will be led by ad-hoc Board member Dr. Zachary McCormick to develop and enhance fundraising strategies. Members will have the opportunity to develop efforts related to both individual philanthropy and group partnerships. No prior experience with fundraising is necessary. Creative thinking is welcome.
