- Board Certified/Eligible in at least one of these specialties; Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
- Members who are not board certified in any of the above specialties must have completed or be currently enrolled in an ACGME Pain Fellowship and start with an ISIS Lumbar course
During this 16-hour lumbar procedures course the following techniques will be taught: - Fluoroscopic Anatomical Needle Placement
- Caudal / Interlaminar Epidural Access
- Sacroiliac Joint Injections
- Sympathetic Injections
- Intraarticular Zygapophysial Joint/Medial Branch Block
- S1 Transforaminal Epidural Injections
- L4 & L5 Transforaminal Epidural Injections
In addition, there will be lectures and didactics covering: - Spinal Anatomy
- Radiological Imaging
- Indications and Techniques
- Radiation Safety
- Complications and Management
- Case Presentations
