When you reach the frontier of the evidence base, will you be ready to chart the path for your peers to follow? This session is designed especially for members who do not have the same resources as physicians in academic settings to conduct clinical research. You will hear experts from both academia and private practice discuss in a step-by-step fashion how to conduct clinical research studies. You will hear about their experiences, including how to get your results published in reputable journals. The program includes hypothesis formulation, study design, institutional review and regulatory process management, patient protection, data collection, analysis, and publication. After participating in this course, you’ll be on your way to making a name for yourself as a contributor to evidence-based spine intervention.
