I have been a member of ISIS since 1997. At the time there were many organizations claiming to represent pain medicine - there still are. I joined ISIS because I believed that ISIS was one of the more "pure” and ethical organizations representing the burgeoning specialty of interventional pain medicine. I was developing an office based chronic pain practice and had many things to learn. Interventional pain medicine was just one aspect of the practice, but an important one. To read more click here.
